Calcium carbonate (CaCO 3 ) is a calcareous material that forms different types of rocks: : marble, limestone rocks, travertine. The micronisation process makes it pure, bright and very white.

It plays an important role in many industrial and agricultural processes . It is used in the production of high quality paper , paints , adhesive films and plastics, in building, in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries . It is also valuable in the protection of the environment , used for the treatment of drinking water , neutralisation of acid rain and the desulphurisation of combustion fumes.

The Calcium Carbonate produced by BS Quarrysar Group is made from the processing of its own Orosei Daino marble .
It is available in considerable quantities in the most commonly used granulometries and on request.
